Semeon Kukormin (Russia)

Rushed brightly into the Tango-Djs’ life in 2011, he stole tangueros’ hearts, ears and legs very quickly and is continuing to do such thing on regular Moscow milongas and all over the world by active traveling.
Many heads were turned and many souls were prisoned by his music selections. “Dance is a song for me first of all now, and I can talk about my feelings throughout it. While dancing, I sing in duet with my partner! Perhaps that is why instrumental music sounds a lot lessduring my DJing. I put the music for the dancers as a dancer. For me it is very important that people dance because they like the music and they want to dance, not because they came and they have no choice!”
What “the most lyrical DJ” prepares for this time?Come and bring your changing legs!

Ivars Abelis (Latvia)

One of the first Latvian dancers and DJs’, Latvian Porteno in the most deserving meaning, the author of the tango music history lecture cycle, enthusiast and altruist , inspirer of many latvian (and not only latvian) tangueros. The best of the best from tango classics, tradicions and quality – these are distinguishing features of Ivar’s work. Don’t miss out!

Nigel Smith (France)

Nigel started to DJ after having danced for about seven years in the milongas of Paris, and having attended some wonderful festivals in Europe. His very first experience was in a milonga where a DJ had left a playlist on a USB key, and a computer malfunction threatened to stop the milonga after an hour or so. Nigel had his 1st gen. iPod with him, and said "I can play, if you still want to dance.", and people did. „So I DJed my very first milonga! „
„ I work with the energy of the whole milonga, and try to feel the ebb and flow of the dancers on the dancefloor, and give people time to be passionate and energetic on the floor, as well as soft, and relaxed. One of the greatest compliments I have ever received was: "Whether I was dancing or not, the music kept me feeling as if I had danced the whole night!" I will try to keep you dancing the whole night. But when you're not dancing, I still want you to feel that I am playing the music for you. Because I am!”

DJ Gi - Giedre Mataciunaite-Madsen  (Lithuania/Danmark)

Emotionality and experiment are the characteristic properties of DJ Gi’s style, which have already gained its’ admirers in different countries. As well as for the Giedre–the-photographer every photo shoot is important, for Giedre-the-DJ is important every moment of milonga – the light, the sound and the frame of mind. The atmosphere created by Giedre is always a holiday, and this is what fiesta needs!

     Natalia "airhead" Orlova (Ukraine)

An avid festival jetsetter, Natalia also translates tangos into Russian and holds a popular Wednesday milonga in Kiev. Has earned the dancers’ appreciation with sparce DJing inspired by stylish ideas found in the Golden Age of tango and in the bordering domains. Milonga Hungara with cortinas by the Gypsy orchestra, Milonga Turca, Retrolonga para el Parque, Milonga Criminal – each event left sweet memories behind.
“I don’t want to do the DJing as a job. My attitude is to entertain guests with a well-weighed menu, like a hostess of the holiday. Could spend hours at home arranging the story within a tanda, and wince at emotional dissonance in a formally impeccable tanda by somebody else.” So what is Natalia’s treat for this time?
